Time Magnifier

The luminescent panel is based on the effect of phosphorescence, which occurs when a surface with a special coating is illuminated by a white or blue light source.
The exhibit utilizes the effect of phosphorescence, where a special coating on the luminescent panel temporarily retains light traces after being illuminated with white or blue light. Visitors can draw with light on the panel and observe how their graphics glow briefly before gradually fading.
In addition to drawing on the panel, visitors can use a point light source to create 3D light drawings. The movement of the light is captured by a digital camera with long exposure, creating a continuous light trail. The final image is displayed in real time on an LED screen.
The exhibit consists of a luminescent panel with a phosphorescent surface, a digital camera with long exposure, and an LED screen to display the resulting light images.
